About Heritage Camel Safari

A camel desert safari is the most authentic way to explore the Dubai desert by traveling on a traditional camel convoy. Camels are known as ships of the desert because of the ease at which they elegantly move across the desert sands. Your 45-minute journey through the desert traces the footsteps of Bedouin travelers and leads you to a traditional Bedouin camp lit by gentle flames, nestled in a private royal desert retreat. Learn about another animal that was important to the region, the falcon. Watch a sunset falcon show in the dunes and find out why the falcons are so important to the Emirati culture. Discover Dubai as it was over 50 years ago and enjoy an evening experiencing many cultural activities such as henna, shisha, and bread-making. Learn how to prepare a local recipe handed down from generation to generation, before enjoying a scrumptious traditional four-course dinner under the Arabian desert star-lit sky. Be entertained by traditional Emirati dances and join in on a cultural drumming session. The Heritage Camel Safari starts between 02:30 PM and 04:30 PM (depending on the season).
The duration of the Heritage Camel Safari will be around 7 hours.

Things to Note:

Vegetarian, kids’ meals and Kosher-style meals are available upon request on booking.
Alcohol is neither served nor permitted on tour to stay true to local traditions and showcase the authenticity, warmth, and hospitality of the region.
This tour is not suitable for children 4 years old and below and for pregnant women.
Pick-up of guests from personal residences in Dubai is not done unless you have booked a private car. If you are staying at a personal residence, pick-up will be done from the nearest hotel.
Pick-up from Dubai Hotels between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm (depending on the season). The exact time is communicated by midday of the tour.
Return to the Hotel between 9:30 pm and 11:30 pm (depending on the season).
The dinner includes soup, salad, appetizer, main course, and dessert.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before booked date. No-shows and late cancellations are non-refundable.
